Giving baby paci??

So I really want to introduce the pacifier to my 6 week baby. I’ve tried different nipple shapes and he hates them all. Did anyone have any luck with a specific paci?? I breastfeed and bottlefeed

My babies did both breast and bottle. They both ended up liking advent ultra soft pacifiers. I like them because the outer part is softer instead of hard plastic but big enough they didn’t chew on it.

I use mam and I REALLY had to encourage it. She had really bad reflux and pacis help with the symptoms so I kept trying until she finally started taking at least the mam ones. But she definitely had zero interest at first. Maybe because she wanted to soothe eat too and pacis don't give milk (but soothe eating makes reflux worse so couldnt)

My oldest loved his dr browns and nuk. My youngest would take dr browns but really loved his avent

My son’s first favorite is the Tommee Tippee pacis, and second runner up is Philips Avent!

You can keep trying with different ones, but some babies just don’t like pacifiers. Only two of my mom’s seven kids took them, and even then it was only for maybe a couple of months before that ended as well

Our little one kept popping them out and we thought she didn’t like them turns out she was still learning to suction properly and would lose grip and once we got a wubanub with the avent soothing nipple attached she was fine. It just needed a little extra weight to stay in. 😊

We have a drawer full of different types of pacies because my son never took to one. Some babies just don't.

My daughter did well with avent smoothies. She was breast and bottle fed.

My 16 week old hated them all but I got the one that matched the bottle I give her - Tommee Tippee bottle and pacifier. I would suggest finding one most similar to the bottle nipple you use
