Back in 2016 I stopped birth control and was trying to conceive. After stopping my period never came back. My OB then suggested clomid and started me on progesterone to induce a period so I could begin the clomid. Still no period. So I decided to take the clomid without a period and BAM it worked, had my son in April 2017. Now I'm in the same boat stopped birth control Aug 15th had a period and it hasn't returned. OB again prescribed clomid, he said it was a miracle that I got pregnant the first time without a period. (I read new studies that suggest you do NOT have to have a period to start clomid). Now I'm trying to decide if I want to do the progesterone to start the clomid or if I want to take the clomid as I did before without the period (don't know if progesterone will work). Has anyone else taken clomid without a period and had success.
