Spouse with first responder careers
My fiance got on the fire department, he's been to a few calls all pretty small (bush fire, older lady slipped, etc) well around 3am last night he got a call. We didn't get to talk yet but he came home smelling like smoke and on the verge of breaking down. He's in the shower now, and asked me to make me breakfast so I am. Anyone with a spouse who is in a first responder career that can give me some insight? Some tips on helping him?
