When did you give your little one a sippy cup?

Just wondering when everyone gave there baby water for the first time? And when they gave them a sippy cup??

My daughter started taking a sippy at 4 months. She would drink breast milk from it like a bottle. She refused all bottles, but took the sippy. Now we put water in it sometimes when she eats. My daughter is 6 months and the doctor said it is okay for her to have some water.

These ones she did fab with them 👍 from 5+

Moved onto theses at 8 month ish & no issues.. now she uses all sorts 🤣 not so fussy... hope this helps 🤞 xx

Forget the ‘sippy cup’ 🙄
Go right to a straw cup. At 7 months we used the Ark (therapeutic brand) Honey Bear cup available at Amazon.  We drank from straws in front of our son and he got the hang of it on the fourth try using the honey bear cup with valve.

We started about 5 months with sippy cup & shes has so many different ones but found she would rather have a plastic cup to drink from... still get hot chocolate milk out of bottle about 30-60 minutes before bed but it's more of a comfort thing & helps her settle as we dont intervene & let her self soothe shes been doing this since 6 months & is now 20 months

I think we gave our son a sippy cup right after he turn 6 months old. He refused the bottle and wanted the cup. It depends on your little one if they are interested in a sippy cup or not.

I started offering water in a sippy cup along with solids at 6 months. My son is 10 months now and still not very interested in drinking from the sippy, so I currently only offer it with meals when he’s in his high chair.
