No Judgement - Power Nursing?

Question

I’ve heard of power pumping to mimic cluster feeding, but has anyone tried power nursing?
My 3-month old would love to use me as a pacifier any chance they get. Even if they’re only sucking ~10 minutes every hour would that be enough of a stimulation to boost my supply?

Absolutely. Putting babe on frequently, like you describe, will increase supply (because of increased demand). You can offer every hour or so, or wait for babies early hunger signs, and she’ll likely be happy to do this type of cluster feeding for one or two spans during the day. Just don’t force it - if babe isn’t interested or is arching and crying when you try to get her to feed AGAIN, just try again later.
