Well I’m confused?

I’m my progesterone was to be low would my pregnancy tests still continue to get darker. Doctor hasn’t said anything about my progesterone but he doesn’t believe that pills help in pregnancies and believes it’s up to the baby... so to help ease my mind would my tests continue to get darker? It’s way darker than it was yesterday and the test line is way darker than the control line today.
