First prenatal appt done! Next?

So I just finished my first prenatal appt today and will be seen next month. What usually happens at your second appt? Another pelvic exam? Or another ultrasound? I was so in awe that I forgot to ask these kinds of questions lolll sorry

The next appointment should be pretty short, they will take your vitals and may be able to hear baby with a Doppler. You should not need another pelvic exam during your pregnancy unless you are having other issues like spotting.

Unfortunately it's pretty anticlimactic except for a few appointments from here on out. Welcome to the waiting game!

If I remember correctly, the highlights are:

1st appt
20 (ish) week anatomy scan/gender reveal 
Glucose test (not my fav but gets honorable mention for being something different)
And when they start scheduling you every week.

Other than that, it's pretty much you put pants on, see the doctor for 5 minutes and wonder why you even bothered to put pants on. 😉
