First doc appt

I had to change OB bc my current OB is no longer doing obstetrics so my file was transferred to another doctor who is realllly super nice. Anyway, my old OB used to see me for the first time at 8 weeks but this one only sees me at 12 weeks for the first time. Isn’t that a bit late ?? I actually have my first ultrasound scheduled before I see her ... anyone else ? I’m in Canada Incase it makes a difference
