So my husband is in the military, we’re currently in Washington state. We are originally from Illinois. My husband is getting out of the military at the end of this month soo we will be driving back to Illinois. We have 2 fairly large dogs and a 3 month old baby.

The total hours of driving without stopping is 33 hours, but we will obviously have to stop lots. Driving up here was a little rough because we ended up getting into an accident where a deer ran out in front of us. Everything ended up turning out to be okay but going back to Illinois I have a little bit of anxiety from that. Now that we have a baby I’m even more nervous. My husband will be driving his car with the dogs and I will be driving my car with our 3 month baby boy in the backseat so we won’t be in a car together and that has me worried as well. What also worries me is that my son will obviously get bored being in a car seat for a long time and he probably won’t sleep most of the time.

Soo I’m basically asking for advice or suggestions on mothers who have traveled long distances with babies and what they did!!!
