IUD???

Question

So I’ve never had an IUD before, I got it done yesterday and it was a horrendous experience. Today I’m having pretty big blood clots. Anyone have that happen before? Not sure if it’s normal?

I got mine put in aug 28th its my 2nd one placement is horrendus i had tons of blood clots for my first week after placement i also had bleeding it was not heavy and its on and off like this give urself a month if ur still getting issues then iud isnt for you n thats ok they got nexplanon and other stuff for me the iud gives me utis when they first place them  thats the only issue iv had so far

I got mine August 31st and it felt like a big cramp for 10 seconds after they placed it but afterwards I was fine. Only thing I’ve experienced since is on and off light bleeding/ spotting. Apparently it’s normal to bleed 3-6 months after insertion

Which one did you get? 
I had the copper one before my July baby and i had zero issues with insertion. But i did bleed off and on for a few months

Sounds like you’ll have heavy bleeding with it for 3-6 months. I’ve had on and off spotting with mine and it’s been just over a month having my first one. Give it 3 weeks or less and it should slack off
