I broke up with an ex 9 months ago. We were together for a year and we had an amazing relationship. The breakup was amicable. 3 months ago his new girlfriend posted a picture of them tagged to my ex which I "hearted" because why not?
Yesterday I received a facebook message from his new gf asking me why I hearted the photo and if I love the photo. 
I didnt reply. Hours after that she tried adding me on fb messenger which I also ignored.
Should I reply to her? Or should I leave it? Why is she doing this?

Dont message her back and dont react to anything concerning your ex or her. In fact I would unfriend them both if I was you. Just move on let them be. I know you meant no harm but why continue to follow or entertain what's not a part of your life anymore.

She is probably trying to figure out what the heart was for. Sounds like your intent was fine, but she may be thinking otherwise. If you want to answer her you can, but I personally wouldn’t
