Do You Tip at Sonic

For those of you with a Sonic in your area: Do you tip?
I wasn't aware until recently that they depend on tips.
I worked fast food in high school and the restaurant I worked didn't even allow us to accept tips. I was paid by the hour though

I wish they would add a tip option to the credit card machine. I rarely have cash to tip, but I would love to help them out.😕

The sonic I go to has a drive thru so I usually use that and don’t tip. On the rare occasion I use the stall I might tip a dollar or 2 if they don’t take forever and don’t forget my sauce, which like the other comment said, is rare. Lol.

I have been to Sonic so many times and had no idea they were tipped. Theres never been a tip line on the receipt. Here they make around $10/hr , do they make server wages elsewhere?

Sometimes I do if they're quick and nice/friendly otherwise I usually don't

Nope. Not at all. They get paid above minimum wage here and in the evening it’s mostly high school students.

I haven’t been in years but when I did I didn’t tip because I didn’t know. I considered it a regular fast food place.
