Is the Owlet worth it?

Considering getting an Owlet monitor. I’m sure I will have a lot of anxiety if I don’t. 
Any cheaper options?

Necessary? No. But man is it an awesome tool. I LOVED ours. I couldn’t sleep because I was constantly worried about my son. It’s amazing how paranoid you get about SIDS when you have a newborn. The owlet sock absolutely gave me peace of mind. Love love love it. Using it again with my second baby. 
The people who are saying no, don’t have one. I think you’ll find that most people that used it, loved it.

Are you talking about the foot/sock-type monitor? Personally, I would only find it necessary if baby has a condition that has to have monitoring. My friends baby has a heart condition, so she wears the owlet sock monitor for that reason. But if baby is perfectly healthy with no conditions, I would say you don’t need it.

I love it!! I sleep easier. And my son just had a fever from vaccines and this gave so much peace of mind. It tracks his sleep too. We got one for $100 less by buying a refurbished one off Amazon. It's refurbished by Owlet itself
