Asking Dr. for a discount on IVF?

We had our educational day yesterday for IVF. The financial lady and hit that some people will call or email the doctor and ask if they can lower the price at all. Has anyone else heard of this?

Thanks. I will look into it. Right now through compassionate care program, we qualify for 25% off. They use SMP pharmacy.

Ours didn't offer any discounts for first time IVF. I think he does it when it fails but I don't know how much the discount is. We did however learn about project greenlight. If you get your meds through one of their approved pharmacies, you can get a rebate on certain meds. For us, the refund was nearly $2k which really helped. Google it and see if you qualify! Good luck!

Well we asked. He said he could not lower the price but that we my able to get some samples for meds. When I called and talked to the nurse she was all rude and said that I can't count on samples.
