Shower with baby

Okay. I am super curious. Who here showers with baby? I showered the first time with my baby before he turned 9 months and I loved it. He always looks so relaxed and I’m also able to shower. It’s been a kind of problem for me to find time to shower. Not kidding. When I do get the time such when my baby’s napping, I do other stuffs like wash his bottles, do laundry or nap with him when I don’t get sleep at night. I work too and I hate going to work not showering but it’s been happening a lot.

Anyway, before we get off topic, i’m now able to shower everyday and also my baby. I’m super mindful about the temperature and how long we shower. I carry him while shower is on. I wash my hair with my available hand, rinse then him, i grab the liquid soap, pump some on my hand and soap his body and gently scrub him. I am able to get every part of his body that needs soaping. While doing that, he mostly rest his head on my shoulders. I shampoo him and that’s when he gets super relaxed.

I make sure the water doesn’t pour a lot of water on his face. Both him and I feel so refreshed after every shower. I’ll dry him up with his towel and I dress him up. He usually falls asleep 15-20 mins after.

Is this weird? Honestly I love it and it’s just another bond for us.
