Hey y’all ! I’m changing up the POV for a second. Ik this is a group for Moms with early babies, however I am a non-mom (is that even what you call me 🤔) but a preemie. I was born a little over 6 months due to a car crash (drunk driver) that threw my mom into labor. The crash happened on November 3rd and the doctors tried everything in their power to hold me in. Ofc that did nothing as I was born on the 6th (shout-out to my mom for bearing a 3 day labor). I didn’t leave the hospital until early January. I flat lined 3 separate times, wasn’t eating, wasn’t gaining weight or anything. & now I’m turning 19 next month, in college to be a neonatal nurse and alive and healthy. Moral of the story, things might seem like your life is a living hell and it probably is but you must fight. If you’re on your way up why would you stop in hell anyways ?
