False positive?

So I took a test last night and it was negative but I looked at it this morning and it was positive. Do you think I didn’t wait long enough to look at it last night or is that just the evaporation line that makes it look positive? It wasn’t a faint line though it was very dark. I didn’t take a photo of it because I was in a hurry getting ready for work but now it’s all I can think about!

It turns positive if it’s left out for a long time. But I would go in to doctor & just get a blood test to be 100%. My bestfriend is now 8 weeks. She found out she was pregnant at 6 weeks. She took a total of 5 tests. 2 was negative but she really is pregnant!

the test results CHANGE if you wait too long. after the time range they gave you like 3 to 5 mins or something the test gets INVALID. take another one and if it says negative then no youre not pregnant

More than likely a false negative it’s rare for false positives on those things you can go in for blood work or take another test

Results after the allotted time frame given in the instructions (usually 5-10+ minutes) is considered invalid & to be disregarded as it’s likely an evaporation line. If ur still wondering, then test again & only go by the results in the allotted time frame!
