Did or will you get Tdap and flu vaccine during pregnancy?

Some people believe it causes stillbirth and some people believe it's crucial for mom and baby's health. What are your thoughts?

There’s no medical confirmation that either of these causes stillbirth. That’s some sort of myth someone came up with to start chaos.

Yes. Neither of those shots can cause stillbirth. However, all the things they prevent can kill your baby. I lost my baby while pregnant due to the flu.  Get your flu shots in August people.

I got both as well as my husband... and as one who had a stillbirth due to prematurity and incompetent cervix at 23 weeks, it IRATES me that some fucked up anti-science anti-vaccine idiots will say that shit and sensationalize other mothers losses saying vaccines caused it... honestly.. fuck those people..

I did, I got both. For all 3 of my pregnancies and they are all healthy and I didn't get the flu! I was worried about that because the flu is dangerous to the baby, whether it be in the womb or in the world. ♡

I got both, for  my last... and tdap with my 1st......  I ended  up getting the Flu while pregnant,  it was the most miserable/stressful week of my life.... get them both

Yep! And I made my husband, parents, siblings, MIL and FIL get the tdap too. My OB said anyone who will be holding the baby a lot in the first 3 months should get it. I got the flu shot 2 weeks after my baby was born (that’s when it was released for this flu season) and made my husband get it too.

There is studies that show that the tdap isn’t as effective as people think it is for protecting newborns, and it has caused miscarriages and stillborns.  I don’t know about the flu shot causing stillborns, but it can leave you more vulnerable to getting other types of sickness similar to the flu.  In America only 2% of the population will get the flu in a year, so in my opinion, it doesn’t seem worth it, but it depends on where you live.
