Baby Vivien was due to be born 10/2/19 but came a little early at 9/29/19 weighing 8lb6oz 21inches long. Things were going great for the first day. About 3 hours before we were to be discharged I noticed her spasming. The nurses took her and the next thing we know she is being lifelited to Doernbechers NICU via Panda Team. These people are so amazing. It was so stressful and we were panicked but they did everything possible to soothe us and take care of our little girl. We are so thankful to them! 🙌 It turns out she had a stroke in Utero and this has caused seizures and brain deprivation to the areas of her brain that control fine motor skills. She's on seizure medication and its working! She's been such a trooper but shes a fighter and definitely not ready to give up. We finally got to bring her home today and it feels like walking on air. We couldnt be any more ecstatic.
