Diaper rash or diaper allergic reaction ?

Our little one is 9 days old. This started in the NICU when using a horrible thick white butt paste. Since having her home we’ve been using either Huggies or pampers.

We’ve tried aquaphor, desitin and some powder vasoline mixture that the doctor told us to try. It doesn’t seem to be resolving. We’ve only been using the stuff From the doctor since Friday afternoon so not sure if it’s been long enough to help.

We change her diaper often and try to give her as much diaper-free time as we can.

I’m wondering if this looks more like an allergic reaction or a diaper rash. Thoughts and advise appreciated.
