Toddler touched her poop

My toddler (2 1/2) pooped during naptime. I thought she was peacefully playing with her stuffed animals while she was talking to them like she sometimes does during nap, lo and behold she was touching the poop in her diaper. I got her out and gagged at the smell of poop everywhere and under her fingernails, washed her up, and what the heck do I do now?!! She is currently sleeping with her zip-up pajamas on backwards... but what does this mean?

She needs a break from trying to use the potty or she's ready to try using the potty more?

If you don't have an answer for me, at least share the worst thing your toddler ever did to make me feel better about these grave and horrendous poop circumstances right now! Thanks!
