Bleeding reddish blood after sex

Hi can someone help please!

I had sex with my partner on Saturday night went to toilet after and I was bleeding but only when I wiped, I thought maybe it was my period I put on a pad and there wasn’t any blood when I woke up. I’m due my period today but there no other signs of it!!
