Clinginess

Is it true that breastfed babies are clingier?

My daughter has always liked being held, weve held her quite a bit so idk, I think we hVe just spoiled her... she is 12.5months and just started daycare, today they said she had to be held most of the day but its "probably because shes breastfed" I feel bad because they have other kids to tend to... my daughter isnt walking yet, doesn't like being hurt... I think she is a sensitive girl. Which is understandable because I am myself lol.

Have we done something wrong to make her so clingy or is this just a part of her personality? I guess I know the answer but my brain is saying we caused this... ahh.

Also, I'm not sure if it has to do with her recent ear infection and sickness.. but she has refused to even sit in her highchair. Shes been sitting in it for months even at her birthday party. But since this ear infection and her refusing solids.. which she just stRted eating properly again, she hasnt wanted to sit in it at home or daycare...

Help... do we just live with the clinginess, personally it doesnt bother me, but I'm her mom lol. Or do we just let her cry... she starts hyperventilating crying (something I did as a kid as well) so I dont want to stress her out like I was. I want her to know shes safe and secure..
