How many oz whole milk for 1 year old?

How many ounces of whole milk should a 1 year old have a day? 
He has a cleft that complicates things. Can only use a straw cup or bottle but will not drink the milk from a straw cup. And I hear it's recommended to stop the bottle when they turn a year old.

If he likes the bottle, use it. And you can give zero cows milk - or some depending on your child's needs and diet

No more than 24oz per day. He actually doesnt ~need~ milk anymore if he's getting nutrition from solid foods so you can skip the milk entirely and do water with meals or give milk as a beverage at meals, but dont use the milk as a meal.

Thank you both! I think I'm going to give him an 8oz bottle at night before bed and then give yogurt during the day. I never wanted to give him juice but he got sick and wouldn't drink anything else (couldn't drink his formula at the time because the congestion mixed with his cleft made him choke worse) and now he is hooked. So he gets 4oz watered downs juice a day as well as a pretty good diet. Loves his carbs though!
