Iud removal side effects

I just got my iud removed yesterday at noon, it’s currently 9am the next day and I’m kinda bleeding a lot and I had an extremely long bloody clot almost like something I’d get while on my period.. is this normal? I also had my period a week ago so I know it’s not that.
