Tips to sleep alone?

My husband's doing overnights now and i cannot sleep.  Help?

Get a dog! I know, easier said than done. But I can’t imagine not having this guy at my feet every night

Lots of pillows, the comfiest clothing, a heated blanket, melatonin, and a good book. Learning to sleep alone can make you feel more confident, secure, and independent in other areas of your life! 
Are your concerns loneliness, separation anxiety, safety, or is it more of a physical comfort, or something else? You can be everything you need for yourself, but you’ve got to face what’s bothering you.

My bf’s job makes it pretty common for him to work nights. We work together to make things comfortable for me to be alone. I always sleep in one of his shirts and usually always have an extra one of his shirts on his pillow. I also keep the dog in the room while he’s gone to have a sense of “presence” in the room so i don’t feel alone (if you have that option) we also leave notes for each other which I found help a lot! I leave notes for him to come home to before i leave for work, and he does the same for me. I makes you look forward to the notes and excited to go to sleep and wake up which makes the week FLY by. I hope this helps💕

Wear his comfy clothes to bed

My bf was away for a month and it was horrible to sleep alone. I filled my bed with soft toys 😂 I have a massive teddy bear and a few others. I also grabbed some of his clothes that smelled like him. That’s the only advice I have, put things in the bed with you, blankets etc, maybe have something to fall asleep to on tv. I also watch ASMR videos on YouTube to help me sleep
