Metopic Ridge?

My son is 8 months old and I have recently felt a ridge like thing right on the top of his head in front of his soft spot. I googled and now everything is pointing to craniosynotosis which means surgery and all kinds of other things! Developmentally he is doing great. 6 teeth, stands on his own, crawls all over, babbles, laughs, rolls over, sits up on his On from a laying down position... there are ZERO delays. But I am freaking out. 😖 
Anyone else feel ridges on their baby’s head??

We just left the neurosurgeon yesterday. My son has craniosynostosis of sagittal suture. I’m a mess. So anxious. I knew something was off, I brought it up to his pediatrician thinking his head shape was not like my other babies. We’ve opted for the noninvasive type of surgery, two incisions and they’ll remove a plate of the skull. He’s 5 months old and the absolute love and keeper of my heart. ❤️ surgery should be within the next couple of weeks.

I have!!! And my babies is visible! What does your babies look like? Did you bring it up to your ped yet?

If it’s a slight ridge - you don’t need to treat it. You only need to treat it if the whole forehead is triangular. But even then - some people won’t treat it.
