Disagree.
Different circumstances, like an ill family member, will call for different responses and priorities.  A sweeping statement of “wife always first” is idealistic and unrealistic, no matter how desirable the idea might be.

I agree for the mosh part, but remember not all wives have good intensions and are good people. There are many who are abusive, manipulative, controlling, etc.

I’m somewhat in the middle on this. When you get married, your spouse becomes part of your family. But I don’t discard the people who raised me, they matter too and I would do anything for them. 
But if there was an issue between my parents and my husband, it really would be circumstantial for me. And my dad and husband have disagreed in the past, I did more side with my husband but was very much on both their sides on our situation.

I agree. My husband and I have had this conversation. As with anything, there are limits. I wouldn't protect my husband above all else in EVERY situation. For instance, if he sexually abused someone, I wouldn't lie for him or some shit. I don't have fear that he would do that. I'm just saying my love is not blind.
