Mamas who use a mesh crib liner- Recommend or no?

They just slide down and he sticks his leg over or under them. Super pointless and a waste of money.

I was against anything in the crib except a fitted sheet until my daughter decided to learn to roll to her tummy in her sleep and then got her leg between the slats and couldn't figure out to get it out and therefore couldn't roll back over even though she was trying.  
So yea.   Highly recommend.

Never got them but seriously considered it for about a week when he learned to roll and got a leg or arm stuck few nights in a row. He always woke up and cried so we’d go help him free and we weren’t concerned for his safety but the waking up was a problem since he was a very good sleeper. After about a week or so (while we pondered the purchase) he actually learned how to free himself or no longer put his arms/legs through. I haven’t seen him put his hands or feet through the slats in a long time now. Though he does use them for leverage when flipping around sometimes.
