Do they have a language barrier?

my mom works at a salon and she’s seen someone’s presence like things moving around and things falling out of nowhere. Not only my mom but her co workers have seen several times as well. It only happens when there are only one or two people opening and closing the store. Once the front desk girl saw a man sitting in the store when she came in early by herself. She described him as a very calm and nice man. My mom’s coworkers seem to get used to his presence already. My mom is not. She is new to the store and she is scared. They wanted to hire me to help out with the front desk task too but i dont think im brave enough to come in early to open and be the last one to leave the store. Fyi, we were told that there was a homeless man died in that plaza before the salon was build up
