Home fetal heartbeat monitors?

I am 13+5 weeks and constantly worry that something is wrong with my baby. I had a miscarriage in Feb so I am extra nervous about everything. Has anyone used a home fetal monitor? Was it worth getting or did it make you worry more? Thoughts..

When I went in at 12.5 weeks they still couldn’t find it with a Doppler because the placenta is on the front of my stomach so it’s blocking them from hearing baby. If I didn’t know that and have an ultrasound confirmation that everything was ok I would be WAY more nervous than waiting until my next appointment for them to check for me.

Doctors/midwifes in the uk don’t recommend getting them! So I haven’t bothered 😘

I honestly think it would cause more worry than it would solve, but everyone is different.
Also, you don’t know what you’re listening for, just because you find a heartbeat doesn’t mean everything is fine and you could go unchecked, which I believe is why they’re not recommended for home use in the UK.

I just brought one yesterday. I’m 14 weeks and all my symptoms have gone away, just need some reassurance between appointments to know baby is okay.

For me personally yes because I always bleed so I can pull up babies heartbeats then but if I wouldn’t be bleeding like I do I pro wouldn’t need it
