And here she is. My second princess RyleighMarie.

On Friday 10/04 at 39wks I was scheduled for a 9am induction due to her measuring almost three weeks ahead, but was told the hospital was too busy and to call back every three hours. I did and every time we called the same answer. Please call back later. After 9pm we gave up and went to bed.

Saturday 10/05 started along at 7am and same thing. Busy with other deliveries and emergencies. We called again at 10am and the RN actually told us to stop calling and someone will call when they have a room available. This left me so frustrated and upset. My fiancé decided to take me out n get my mind off things. Went out to eat and walk around the mall. We get home around 7pm. Still no call. At this point I’m telling him not to call anymore and we will just wait. He calls anyway and what do you know a room is ready.

We get in the hospital at 830pm, check in, sign paperwork and change. 3cm 50% effaced. They hook me up to the machines and I was having light contractions. Started me on pitocin at 1040pm. Contractions get stronger and more consistent. We decide to try and rest.

Sunday 10/06 Morning comes contractions are consistent. 9am I’m at 4cm 70%effaced. So they up the pitocin. I walk around. Bounce on the medicine ball. Around 12pm they come in and check. 5cm 70%effaced. So we decide to break my water and get it going more. With in minutes my contractions are so intense I’m screaming (my poor fiancé) with every one. Nurse comes in at 2pm I ask for epidural. So she check me again and boom, we’re at 9cm fully effaced. Time to get going. Baby’s healthy I’m fine not that the epidural has kicked in. At this point I’m waiting on my mom. Hour goes by and my mom still isn’t here. We call her and her reliever. From work didn’t show. So I tell her I’m gonna push. 340 comes and we’re ready. I ask for the mirror to watch her coming out. Pushed 8 times and there she was! I was so in love all over again. And my fiancé was as well. Now we have two little girls.
