Homeward bound soon

Bianca

After 3 long months in the NICU my baby Zulie will finally be able to come home ! *her original due date was October 13*

She started off at 1 pound 9 ounces and now weighs 6 pounds and 11 ounces 😄👏🏼 Its been quite a journey, very frustrating at times and lots of time where I missed her while Id be at work or just at home in my bed at night. But she’s so perfect and healthy now. No complications, perfect eye development and no health worries in sight. Guess she just wanted to be out in the world sooner than most (: My boyfriend and I love her so much and can’t wait to cuddle her and kiss her in our own home. She’ll have to come home with a feeding tube still through her nose because she’s working on feeding through a bottle still so her dad and I will be taught how to gavage feed but it’s okay, just another small challenge to tackle and we’ll get through it for the next few weeks. (Shouldn’t be gavage feeding for more than a month at all) We’re going to throw a welcome home celebration for her and our families can’t wait to surround her with love. She’s our world. We love her more than we knew we ever could love and we’re so happy to have her with us for the rest of our lives. 💕 my healthy, strong, blessed Zulie Anaïs. God loves you, baby girl.
