My better half, my saving grace..

If you had asked me a couple years ago if I’d see myself getting married & having a child I would have laughed & told you no. I was damaged goods for many years. I fought to keep relationships alive that took everything from me & rarely ever added to it. I had life traumas that stole any definition of what love really was. But, I didn’t think I deserved better so I settled & dealt with it. Fast forward to the present & right now. I met a man who not only loves me for me, but loves me for what I once was & who I’ve yet to become. A man who does not judge, a man who does not cheat, a man who does not yell or raise his voice, a man who does not curse at me, I found a man who truly LOVES me. He showed me a love I had always prayed for but never found. He is my equal, my peace but more importantly my better half. When the days get rough & all I can do is cry HE helps me up. The love I have for him is something that is felt & truly seen by others around us. Every morning I wake up blessed knowing that this is the man I will be vowing to spend the rest of my life with. Thank you for choosing me, thank you for loving me, & thank you for spending the rest of your life with me. Elias & I love you beyond anything in this world. 💛
