Should line be darker?

I have a vvfl on my pregnancy test and I’m supposed to start my period Friday. When I had my son, I had a super dark line at 3 weeks/3 days pregnant... quite a bit before I was supposed to start my period. Has anyone had a pregnancy test where they didn’t have a dark line until after period was due?

It all depends on what your hcg is. It could barley be rising still. Like if implantation barley happened 2-3 days ago, it just takes time. Or urine diluted. Wait 2 days and you’ll see it get dark. 
If you got a positive at 3 weeks 3 days based on last period then you were 4-5 days from next period..
