Paragard?

Can you explain how getting the paragard went for you?

Just got it inserted today and i started moderately bleeding almost right away.

I know some spotting is normal but has anyone had more than a little spotting following insertion?

Im not currently on my period which is probably why it caught me off guard. I did have a negative pregnancy test before getting the iud put in.
