Experience with uncircumcised boy?

Question

To moms with uncircumcised boys, what have been your experiences so far? Are you glad you didn’t have your boy circumcised or do you wish you did? I’m trying to figure out what path I would take if I’m having a boy.

I have never seen a circumcised penis in real life, as it's just not done here (unless medically necessary). No problem with cleaning, smell, Infections etc.

My boy is almost 4 months and he is uncircumcised. I do not regret it all, it’s not hard to clean, havent had any issues, and I dont think I would’ve been able to live with myself for putting him through an unnecessary procedure. For me, I made the right choice by leaving him uncircumcised.

I know you ask for uncircumcised moms. Mine is and he’s just over a year and I regret it sometimes. The procedure was fine he was fine but it fuses back a lot and we have to peel it down and he is in pain whenever we do it. They said we will have to do it tell it grows enough to hold itself back. Can’t help but think he would have been better off without being cut. Not everyone has this problem if your doctor cuts enough off but this has been my experience.

Our son is 10 months old and no regrets whatsoever. We’ve had no problems with cleaning or infections either. I asked my husband to make the decision for us, he’s uncircumcised too and we both felt this was the best choice for us. I say this on every circumcision post- we watched American circumcision on Netflix and it only validated for us that we were making the best choice for our boy and family. At the end of the day though, this is between you and your partner.

18 months and not one issue! I decided it wasn't our choice. Also, he came out so perfect. I didn't see a reason to do anything when there wasn't anything wrong.

not uncircumsized, but intact is the correct way of saying it mama 🥰 but to answer your question, yes everything is great. no issues at all, no special care, nothing. We are so glad we made the choice to keep our son whole because boys are perfect too 💙
