I went off birth control 6 months ago so my husband and I could try to conceive. I still haven’t gotten my period back. At my annual gyno appointment last week, my doc prescribed a round of 10 progesterone pills. My question... Will these help me get my REAL period back, or just shed my uterine lining? Will the one round help me ovulate going forward, or will I need to take progesterone every month? What are the typical next steps? (Note: All blood tests taken came back completely normal. No PCOS or other issues)
