How early can you find out the gender of the baby by ultrasound? This is my first and my doctor doesn't seem to want to do anymore ultrasounds until about 20 weeks. I don't think I can wait that long.

14 weeks. Just go to a private ultrasound location. It's usually between 50-100.

I'm currently 11 weeks, and there's a new thing they do through your blood by looking at the chromosomes. She said I can find out at 12 weeks.

I had my first scan at 13 weeks and my second yesterday at 20 weeks we found out we're having a girl. If we (I) hadn't decided we're having a 4D scan I wouldn't get to see my baby again until the day she is born. I say wait it out as long as possible as it just means you gotta wait even longer to see him or her again anyway
