Spotting ?

Hi all. I am 8.5 weeks I woke up sporting this morning. I have been crampy the past few weeks. I went for an apt on Monday everything was fine babies heart rate was 163. I don’t remember spotting with my first pregnancy. I called the doc. They basically said we can’t do anything about it just to keep an eye on the bleeding. Anyone else experience this ?!

I had brown spotting for a week and even had clots come out. I thought for sure I had a miscarriage. Went to the doctors and everything was fine. I couldn’t believe it! Now I’m 10 weeks :) ❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼

I had spotting twice in my first trimester with my son and it was nothing both times. In my second trimester I got hit very hard in the belly and had bright red heavy bleeding, it was terrifying but he was all good in there. Just do like the doc said and monitor the bleeding, if it gets heavier or has clots in it then go to the doctor again. It is not abnormal to have light spotting in your first trimester though since there is increased blood flow to the cervix and it becomes increasingly sensitive. Did you have sex or anything like that prior to the spotting?
