Anyone work at Goodwill?

How the f... do they decide their prices?
I was just in there today looking around and came across this little bottle of acrylic paint. The .50 one you buy at Wal-Mart, Apple barrel I think is the brand. Literally .50 at Wal-Mart. But why buy a new bottle at Wal-Mart for .50 when you can buy a used bottle at goodwill for .99?

They do. Like whoever is working just puts whats they think its worth and thats the price.

I used to work at one for a couple years in the clothing department and yea the way they have us price things is certainly ridiculous at times.

Lol I've found the same issue with my local children's secondhand stores. Why the hell would I pay $4 for a used onesie when I can get a brand new 5 pack for $10?

I’ve always wondered how they come up with their prices too. They have plain white baby onesies for $3 each when you can buy a pack of 3 at Walmart for $5-6. They price everything the same that’s in the same category (baby, women’s, men’s, etc.)
