Cloth or disposable diapers?

Has anyone decided if they're going to use cloth or disposable diapers yet? I hear cloth is cheaper in the long run but is more expensive upfront. What brand is the best for cloth diapers and what type and why? Thanks!

We are going to cloth! We are using Alva baby diapers. There's cloth inserts and disposable inserts for them.

We cloth diaper and love it! It is a bit more work, but I really don't mind it at all. We started the cheapest route with prefolds and simple snap covers. As our little one got older and more wiggly, we decided to switch to an all in one diaper. We are using groVia diapers and they are a dream! Basically like a disposable, but cloth! I love them. They are one of the more spendy diapers on the market, but if you can find some lightly used ones you are in for a treat! (;

I am using disposable. I used them with my son to. I know cloth diapers are money savers but I just can't see my self cleaning cloth diapers. I have enough laundry and other things to take care of. And I just keep telling myself kids are expensive no matter what you do or use at one point in time whatever you buy it's going to cost you.

I plan to use disposable as it's my first and I will still be taking college classes. They will be online but I just think disposable will be better right now although I've considered cloth due to price reasons and it's cheaper in the long run.
