Age difference a problem?

I (19) have recently started seeing a REALLY handsome older guy I met though friends (30) He is absolutely fantastic and has a 2 year old that is amazing. he has a great career, his own house and travels to foreign countries all the time and is fantastically supportive and best of all... unlike my ex's treats me wonderfully.. which is absolutely amazing!!!

BUT all my friends say it well never work out because of our age difference!

Does anyone have experience with this kind of situation???
