What do Braxton Hicks contractions feel like?

This is my first pregnancy so I’m curious what it feels like to have Braxton Hicks contractions- my sister said her belly just felt tight. Sometimes it feels like one of my babies (there’s two ;) is turning but then I thought it might be a contractions. Thoughts? What’s it feel like for you?

To me it feels like pressure/tightening in my lower stomach!

Very tight belly. Feels better if I hunch over or curl up. Most of the time this happens when I’m standing or walking around.

I due with two as well Braxton hicks feel different than with my singleton. These feel much tighter and mostly towards my underbelly. But I went in because I felt real contractions and they actually caught them on the screen but they were far enough apart those contractions went from my lower back and wrapped to my front and up to the top of my uterus and were painful! Whereas the Braxton hicks hurt but they never moved and never came in a rhythm.

Mine feel like my whole belly tightening up with my first. With my second there more lower belly tightening up and less whole stomach feeling. But with both they always make it hard to breathe. For me real contractions hurt way worse and never take my breath away.

Braxton hicks with my first pregnancy felt like contractions; they aren’t always painful but they sure can be! I thought maybe I was over exaggerating but when I actually went into labor, it felt the exact same!
