What does back labor feel like?

FTM, 40+2. With back labor do you still get tightening in stomach and some cramps along with the lower back pain? I’m having on and off low back pain with stomach cramps and a hard stomach

It's a pain that no matter how you adjust yourself you just can't get comfortable through it.
It causes your body to entirely tense up - it can be pretty harsh x

My back pain was a straight BURN! Literally felt like a heating pad was on recall due to control of temperature that went up to 200 degrees and a TON OF TIGHTENING. But those back pains didn’t start until I was 8cm.
The beginning of back labor was tightening in my back through my hips to my lower abdomen. The cramping was just an annoying pain. 
I was doing good until 8cm.

I had very bad back labor and yes I still had tightening and pain in my stomach and every contraction would be intense pressure in my back as well

I went into L&D for this last night.
I had back pain that was mildly constant but would peak up constantly. I didn’t feel any tightening in my stomach at all and I went in and was having contractions every 3 minutes. It dilated me by 1cm while I was there and then stopped but I couldn’t tell I had contractions at all just the back pain so I’m assuming I was having back labor. They were almost off the charts. Then baby decided the last hour before they were gonna admit me to see if I was gonna progress anymore baby just said “nope I’m done now.” So I got sent home. Definitely call!
