Best toddler winter boots?

So I'm really conflicted on which winter boots to buy my two year old. I was looking at the light up sketchers boots, but to be honest they seem heavy (I was planning on buying them online). 
I would like something high quality, lightweight, warm and comfortable. Any ideas? He's a size 7 and has a wide foot just to add details, lol.

I'm superduper happy with the shoes from Reima. Been using; Reimatec  Patter Wash for my toddler from August and they are water and wind proof and more than warm enough for my son so far. Have a pair of Reima Samoyed winterboots for when it's really cold more than -10c. 
My son is also flat-footed so finding good shoes is really important, and horrible hard as his feet is really wide.

Oakiwear makes thicker boots that work great in the snow. I got my son a pair last year when he was 2.5 years old. He loved them and they were lightweight and kept his feet warm and dry in the snow. I bought them on Amazon.
