When was your first sonogram ?

My doctor is saying I won’t have a sonogram until I’m 12 weeks. I feel like I’m supposed to have one sooner?

I had one at 5 weeks . It depends on the doctor and probably the insurance coverage

Mine waited until 8 weeks but different practices do it differently. The earliest I’ve heard is 5 weeks and the latest I’ve heard is 12 weeks

All doctors are different. I was scheduled to have my first at 9 weeks but then had it at 7 because of bleeding. But I've had friends who go to other doctors and have theirs anywhere from 12-14 weeks. Feel lucky because itll look like a little baby and not just a weird splatter looking thing like mine did 😂
