Women are the weaker sex!!!

Women are the weaker sex!!!
Your going to have to forgive me. I knew that a title like this would grab your attention. Now that I have it, please read on.
On December 17th 2011 my wife made me the happiest man alive by marrying me. On the 17th of August she made me the happiest man alive because we found out we were having a baby. On the 14th of October, our worlds fell apart because we found out that we lost our baby. With the help of Jesus, as we begin to piece our broken lives and hearts back together, I cannot help but reflect over the whole experience and although it has ended sadly, I have loved the experience and it has taught me so much. I have loved reading and sharing in your stories on here. It has showed me the unbelievable, inspiring and unshakable strength of women. Who ever said that 'women are the weaker sex' was clearly highly ignorant, highly delusional and highly mistaken. I have read so manny harrowing stories of the courage, selflessness and bravery of women on this app. I have learnt and discovered so much about the extreme of pregnancy (it should be called torture), the pain of child birth (also torture) and the pain of loss and the stamina, strength and determination it takes to endure this.
I watched, professional women (Dr's and midwives) care for my wife and handle her with such patience, dignity and love. Complete strangers!!! I watch my wife carry on life although her heart is breaking, I see her hold on to hope and faith though she is broken. I am truly humbled. If any part of me was misogynistic or chauvinistic, then that part of me no longer remains. You ladies, are so strong, amazingly courageous, selfless, patient, compassionate and beautiful individuals capable of far more than you are aware. Those of you who are scared of raising babies by yourself, you are far stronger than you know, just take a step of faith and believe in yourself. Those of you who have men that are aggressive, abusive, oppressive, you deserve so much better, your value goes far beyond words can express. I thank God for the joy my Son or daughter brought us, even though it was a short time, and hoped that through my pain, I could inspire, build up and encourage as many people as I can. I wish you mummies and daddies, all the very best in your pregnancies and in life. God bless!!!!
