Are you planning Placenta Encapsulation??

Question

I've decided on placenta encapsulation and want to hear if any other FTM or repeat moms have experience! Have you done it? Are you planning on it? If you did, did you experience any benefits?  
Note: This is NOT meant to spark a debate over the medical proof of effectiveness! I want to hear from other "crunchy curious" moms like myself who are into natrual or alternative health! I've done my research; I know what the CDC says. I just want to hear thoughts or experiences from other like-minded individuals! 💞 thanks! 😘

I haven't done it and am personally indifferent about it. I've seen a lot of women say that it helped their postpartum mood/ depression. The only possible issue I've read about is that if you have group b strep and then consume your placenta, the strep could possibly pass through the breastmilk to your baby. I haven't researched that for myself, but it's something to look into.

I did placenta encapsulation with my firstborn - and although I can’t attest to NOT doing it - I feel like it may have helped with my milk production, balancing my mood, and providing some energy (only would take it in the morning as advised). I took it for about 4 months postpartum. 
Definitely recommend it.

I’ve had two without doing it so the third time is a charm lol I’m excited to see if it helps at all . If not , no harm . I’ve heard you’ll know if it doesn’t work for you because you’ll feel headaches and jittery . But I’m super excited to try it and fingers crossed it helps with my PPD . Plus I’m curious to taste this smoothie lol good luck !!!

There’s no really negative affects so it’s worth a shot I’d say! If I do do anything it would be encapsulation. Some people make chocolates or other forms of edible options and that’s a bit much for me lol 🤢
