Baby vomiting after introducing solids

My baby is 5 months old and I decided to try giving her solids. So yesterday i gave her jar babyfood that she ate a little after making weird faces. And today, I gave her cereal mixed with breastmilk.. she may have eaten 2 spoons.. after few hours she started vomiting..like big vomits.. she vomited like 5 times in one hour. I got really scared..she slept afterwards. She woke up after about 30 mints. I gave her sips of fennel tea to soothe her stomach.. she sucked on my breast a little and back to sleep. Now i m holding her, terrified to put her down because I am scared she might vomit again. Did anyone experience this after introducing solids? I am FTM so always panicking☹
